Accreditations

Department of Energy Consolidated Audit Program – Accreditation program – SR 2433

What is the Department of Energy Consolidated Audit Program – Accreditation Program

The ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) is recognized to provide accreditation for the U.S. Department of Energy Consolidated Audit Program – Accreditation Program. The DOE relies on accreditation bodies like ANAB that participate in the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) mutual recognition arrangement to implement DOECAP-AP accreditation.

ANAB provides accreditation to commercial analytical laboratories contracted or pursuing contracting with DOE sites and site support contractors.

The Department of Defense (DoD) Environmental Data Quality Workgroup (EDQW) and the Department of Energy (DOE) Consolidated Audit Program (DOECAP) Data Quality Workgroup (DQW) participants developed the DoD/DOE Quality Systems Manual for Environmental Laboratories (QSM). The QSM provides requirements for accreditation to the DoD Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) and the DOE Consolidated Audit Program Accreditation Program (DOECAP-AP).

ANAB will work with you whether you’re a new applicant for accreditation or an accredited lab that intends to test to the DOECAP-AP requirements.
