Management Systems Accreditation Committee

The Management Systems Accreditation Committee, as part of ANAB’s structure, is responsible for oversight of ANAB management systems certification body (CB) accreditation programs. The Committee:

  • Provides input on accreditation requirements, ANAB Accreditation Rules and other supporting documents.
  • Is responsible for assigned accreditation decisions in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1 in accordance with MA 5000.
  • Serves as ANAB’s interested parties related to ANAB safeguarding impartiality within the management systems accreditation programs.

The Committee endeavors to discuss and disseminate information to and receive input from stakeholders across the globe who are involved in management systems conformity assessment activity.

Members

The Committee is made up of approximately 15 members, whom are selected based on their competence and to provide a balance of experience among the types of programs offered by ANAB and our interested parties; including, but not limited to, industry, scheme owners, government, NGOs, consumers, standards committees and certification bodies.

Because the MS Accreditation Committee is a formal part of ANAB’s organizational structure, any questions related to the Committee’s role and responsibilities or related to the members, can be directed to ANAB management staff.
