A Faster Path to Amazon for Compliant Dietary Supplements: ANAB Accredits First Laboratory Recognized Under the GRMA Program

Dietary supplement brands now have a faster, trusted path to selling compliant products on Amazon, supported by accredited testing laboratories. Amazon has recognized the Global Retailer and Manufacturer Alliance (GRMA) Dietary Supplement Product Integrity Program (DSPIP) for its Compliance Fast-Track program. ANAB conducts DSPIP’s laboratory assessments, and Gemini Pharmaceuticals is the first laboratory accredited by ANAB for the DSPIP program.

The DSPIP connects trusted Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)-certified facilities and competent laboratories to Amazon’s marketplace. Through Amazon’s Compliance Fast-Track program, GRMA-recognized laboratories can send compliance information for recognized participants directly to Amazon, helping manufacturers list compliant products faster and reduce compliance-related costs.

For laboratories, the program builds upon their ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation, adding GRMA program-specific requirements. ANAB assesses the laboratories under a memorandum of understanding with GRMA, and GRMA grants recognition based on ANAB’s competency attestation through the scope of accreditation or letter of attestation.

Gemini Pharmaceuticals completed the combined ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and GRMA assessment and is the first laboratory to earn GRMA recognition as a scope extension to its ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation.

A laboratory can add the GRMA program to an existing ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation or pursue both together in a single assessment. For supplement testing laboratories, GRMA recognition is a credential that clients now have a concrete commercial reason to request.
