Notices Regarding Unauthorized Uses of the ANAB Accreditation Symbol and Name

The ANAB accreditation symbol is a trusted indication of quality. Only ANAB-accredited conformity assessment bodies in good standing are permitted to use the accreditation symbol. ANAB-accredited conformity assessment bodies are authorized to use the appropriate accreditation symbol(s) only by consistently demonstrating fulfillment of the rigorous requirements of accreditation standards, schemes, and programs via recurring assessments.

The organizations currently accredited by ANAB are listed in the accreditation program directories on this website, separate from those whose accreditations are noted as withdrawn for any reason.

ANAB investigates every reported misuse of any ANAB symbol, and this may include legal action when warranted.


A fraudulent certificate has been created for CVJ 1370, Registered Agency Entity, Warsaw 00-675 Poland. The certificate has not been issued by the CB (NSF ISR) identified on the certificate and the certificate contains erroneous information (e.g., AS9100C, 5 year validity which cannot exceed 3 years). Any claim of accredited certification is made without authorization. [2024/08/01]

Pacific Geo Engineering, located in Bellevue, WA, falsely claims ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation by ANAB. The organization’s accreditation was suspended on 13 April 2023. Any claim of ANAB accreditation is made without authorization. [2023/06/08]

An ISO 9001:2015 certificate that is purported to be issued by Q-I International to PrimaMed Group , 220062, Republic of Belarus, Minsk, Pobediteley Avenue, 135-397 (certificate number BY-2115-S2, issue date 27 October 2021, expiry date 26 October 2024) is fraudulent. QI International Certification is not an ANAB-accredited certification body and the certificate bears an ANAB accreditation symbol without authorization. 

A quality management system certificate purported to have been issued by NSF International Strategic Registrations (NSF ISR) to CYPTOSMINEFX, a virtual organization) (certificate number C0266752-AS1) with registration period of 24 Feb 20128 March 2019 to 24 March 2024 is fraudulent. The certificate does not identify a standard of supposed certification. NSF ISR is an ANAB-accredited certification body. The certificate was not issued by NSF ISR. It refers to NSF ISR and bears an ANAB symbol without authorization. [2023/03/10]

A fraudulent ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certificate bearing the name Bitrade Pro based out of Savannah, GA claims accreditation by ANAB. The certificate has the identifying number AT-2115 expiring 16 January 2023. Bitrade Pro is not and has never been accredited by ANAB (ANAB issued a valid certificate with the same number to another company). [2022/10/28]

Eternelle Global claims accreditation on their website by ACLASS and ASCLD/LAB both of which are now affiliated with ANAB.  Eternelle Global is not and has not been accredited by ACLASS or ASCLD/LAB and claims ACLASS and ASCLD/LAB accreditation without authorization. [2021/6/30]

Third Party Inspection Services, a division of 2190453 Ontario Inc., falsely claims accreditation by the Laboratory Accreditation Bureau (NKA ANAB). The organization’s accreditation was suspended on 2020/10/20. [2020/12/17]

Precision Calibration Services, Inc., claims accreditation on its website using a fraudulent certificate and scope combining references to ANAB/ACLASS and Perry Johnson. The organization’s ACLASS accreditation was withdrawn on 2015/07/31 and it is not accredited by ANAB. [2020/11/02]

The National Institute of Management, based in India, is falsely claiming accreditation by ANAB and is using an outdated ANAB accreditation symbol and copyright material without authorization. The National Institute of Management is not and has never been accredited by ANAB. Any claim of ANAB accreditation is made without authorization. [2020/11/14]

An ISO 9001:2008 certificate issued by QSG Quality Evaluations to Baoji Giant Technology Materials Co., Ltd., QingAnPu Industrial Park Hi-tech Zone Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, China, (certificate number QSG 72705, issue date 09/10/2014, latest issue 09/10/2017, expiry date 09/09/2020) is fraudulent. QSG Quality Evaluations is not an ANAB-accredited certification body and the certificate bears an outdated ANAB accreditation symbol without authorization. [2020/07/07]

An ISO 9001:2015 certificate purported to have been issued by International Standards Authority (ISA) to Powerplus Group LTD, Room 103, Unit E Building 1, No 1088, Kangqiaodong Road, Pudong New District, Shanghai City, (certificate number ISA/HK/280202) with registration period of 24 Feb 2018 to 23 Feb 2021 is fraudulent. ISA is an ANAB-accredited certification body. The certificate was not issued by ISA. It refers to ISA and bears an outdated ANAB symbol without authorization. [2020/05/27]

Certificates purported to have been issued by The Registrar Company, Inc. (TRC) to CWT Valve Industries Inc., Bay D, 2916-19 Street NE, Calgary, AB, Canada T2E 6Y9, for ISO 9001:2015 (certificate number TRC 00848 with registration periods of May 26, 2017, through May 25, 2020, and May 26, 2020, through May 25, 2023) are fraudulent. TRC is an ANAB-accredited certification body. The certificates were not issued by TRC and refer to TRC without authorization and bear the ANAB symbol without authorization. [2020/05/26]

The accreditation of Legal Entity of Public Law-Laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture based in Tbilisi, Georgia, (Certificate #AT-1844) was suspended on 2019/09/05 and any claim of ANAB accreditation is made without authorization. [2019/11/05]

A fraudulent ISO/IEC 17025 certificate of accreditation (number AT-12807) for A03 Lab of BTS, No.1 Fanghua Street, Hi-tech Zone, Chngdu 610041, P.R. China, refers to the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board/ACLASS and uses an obsolete accreditation symbol without authorization. A03 Lab of BTS is not accredited by ANAB or ANAB’s former ACLASS brand. [2019/07/30]

Fraudulent certificates issued to “Digipart Electronics Co., Limited” of Stevenson Ranch, CA, use the name and logo of QMI-SAI Canada Limited (SAI Global), an ANAB-accredited certification body, and the accreditation symbol of ANAB without authorization. A certificate for Responsible Recycling:2013 has the identifying number CERT-0097820, issue date November 28, 2017, effective date October 31, 2016, and expiry date October 30, 2019. A certificate for ISO 9001:2015 + AS9120B has the identifying number CERT-0106689, issue date November 6, 2017, effective date November 6, 2017, and expiry date November 5, 2020. A certificate for ISO 14001:2015 has the identifying number CERT-0106785, issue date November 3, 2017, effective date November 1, 2017, and expiry date October 31, 2020, and also uses the IAF MRA mark without authorization. A fraudulent ISO 9001:2008 certificate issued to “Teratec Manufacturing Inc.” uses the name and logo of The Registrar Company, an ANAB-accredited certification body, and an obsolete symbol of ANAB and the IAF MRA mark without authorization. The certificate has the identifying number TRC 00640, effective date January 13, 2014, expiry date February 12, 2018, and issue date February 15, 2013. [2019/05/07]

A fraudulent ISO/IEC 17025:2005 certificate bearing the name “Greentech Testing Company Ltd.” of Dhaka, Bangladesh, uses the name and logo of ANAB and the ILAC MRA mark without authorization. The certificate has the identifying number ACT-1284, issue date 12/17/2016, and valid dates 12/17/2016-12/16/2019. (ANAB issued a valid certificate with the number ACT-1284 to another company.) American Technical Services Inc. claims accreditation by ANAB. American Technical Services Inc.’s accreditation was withdrawn on 2019/01/17 at their request. Any claim of ANAB accreditation is made without authorization. [2019/03/13]

A fraudulent ISO 9001:2015 certificate issued to “Shenzhen BenWei Lighting Technology Co., Ltd” uses the name and logo of American Management Technology, Inc. (AMTEC), an ANAB-accredited certification body, and the symbols of ANAB and IAF without authorization. The certificate of registration has the identifying number QMS2016081668-1CN, issue date 16-Aug-2016, and valid period date 15-Aug-2019. [2019/02/11]

Energia Cura claims accreditation by ACLASS (which is now ANAB). Energia Cura’s accreditation was withdrawn on 2018/09/13. Any claim of ANAB accreditation is made without authorization. [2018/11/01]

Empirical Laboratories, LLC, claims accreditation by ANAB but their accreditation was withdrawn on 2018/08/15 due to the business closing. Any claim of ANAB accreditation is made without authorization. [2018/11/01]

A certificate purportedly issued to Health Herbal Clinic, Johannesburg, South Africa, for ISO 9001:2015 for testing with the certificate number AT-1573 is fraudulent. The certificate was not issued by ANAB and refers to ANAB and bears the ANAB symbol and ILAC MRA mark without authorization. ANAB certificate number AT-1573 belongs to Advanced Laboratories Inc. of Salt Lake City, Utah, which is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by ANAB. [2017/09/12]

A certificate purported to have been issued by SRI Quality System Registrar to Warhurst Metals Limited, 97 Holborn Hill Birmingham West Midlands, B6 7QX United Kingdom, for ISO 9001:2008 (certificate number 013749 with a registration period of October 31, 2014, through October 30, 2017) is fraudulent. SRI is an ANAB-accredited certification body headquartered in Seven Fields, PA. The certificate was not issued by SRI and refers to SRI without authorization and bears the ANAB symbol without authorization. [2017/02/21]

The Lab Depot, Inc., claims accreditation by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board dba ACLASS on its website. The website also includes claims of accreditation by L-A-B and ASCLD/LAB, both of which are now affiliated with ANAB. The Lab Depot, Inc., is not and has not been accredited by ANAB, L-A-B, or ASCLD/LAB and claims ANAB, L-A-B, and ASCLD/LAB accreditation without authorization. [2016/08/24]

Fraudulent certificates with an issue date of 7 December 2015 and an expiration date of 6 December 2018 were issued to USA Burks Valve Company, 2372 Morse Avenue, Irvine, CA 92614, USA, for ISO 9001:2008 (certificate number USA/HK/151206), ISO 14001:2004 (USA/HK/151207) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (USA/HK/151208). The certificates purport to have been issued by International Standards Authority Inc. (ISA). All three certificates refer to ISA without authorization and bear the ANAB symbol and IAF MLA mark without authorization. The certificates were not issued by ISA, which is an ANAB accredited certification body headquartered in California. [2016/07/22]

A testing certificate purportedly issued to Wheat Flour Products belongs to Gurunanak Seeds, Kaithal 136027, Haryana, India, with certificate number AT-1915, uses the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board name and logo without authorization. Neither Wheat Flour Products or Gurunanak Seeds is accredited by ANAB. [2016/02/10]

A certification body using the name Integrated Alliance Certification Services PLT, or IACS Global, is not accredited by ANAB and is using the ANAB accreditation symbol without authorization on its website and within a consultant partnership scheme collaboration agreement. According to the agreement, the organization is located at Suite 1389, B-7-03, Block B, West Wing, PJ8 Office Suites, NO 23, Jalan Barat, Seksyen 8, 46050 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Certificates of calibration purportedly issued by All Point, 264 Brookmont Drive, Belleville, IL, with certificate numbers ALP2015-0338 through ALP2015-0360, refer to “National accreditation board/ACLASS.” All Point is not accredited by ANAB or ANAB’s former ACLASS brand and the certificate refers to ACLASS without authorization. A fraudulent ISO 9001:2008 certificate posted on the website of Yellow PGK purports to have been issued to Yellow PGK, LLC, 50 California St., San Francisco, CA 94111, United States, and uses the accreditation symbol of ANAB and the name of Eagle Registrations Inc., an ANAB-accredited certification body, without authorization. The certificate, which bears the number AS36 (Recertified 11/5/2012 – 2 Copies), issue date 5 November 2012, and expired date 4 November 2015, was not issued by Eagle Registrations Inc. [2014/11/06]

Advanced Medical Services/Advanced Paternity, 5793 Ridge Road Parma, Ohio 44129, is claiming accreditation by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board under Forensic Quality Services-International (FQS-I), an entity wholly owned by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board. Advanced Medical Services/Advanced Paternity is not accredited by FQS and has not been a customer of FQS, and has claimed FQS accreditation without authorization. [2014/08/28]

A certification body going by the name Global Standards Management, with the website globalstandard-management.com, is not accredited by ANAB and is using the ANAB accreditation symbol on its website without authorization. According to the website, the organization is PT. Global Standards Management, located at Ruken Grand Cibubur Country RBOJ12, JI Letda Natsir Cibubur-Jakarta, Timur. [2014/08/11 

Alliance Registrar-Iran has inaccurately represented itself as being affiliated with NSF International (NSF-ISR), based in Michigan, USA, and AQA International, based in South Carolina, USA. NSF-ISR is accredited by ANAB and recently acquired AQA (which was previously accredited by ANAB). Alliance Registrar-Iran is not authorized to use the ANAB logo or accreditation symbol. Alliance Registrar-Iran is not accredited by ANAB nor is it affiliated with any ANAB-accredited certification body. As stated in ANAB Accreditation Rule 12, certification bodies are prohibited from issuing ANAB-accredited certificates in Iran. [2014/01/22]

An ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 certificate issued to Rapid Precision Mfg., Inc., in California is not valid. The company has not removed this certificate from its website in spite of repeated requests. The certificate is expired and uses the symbols of Alliance International Registrar LLC, ANAB, and IAF without authorization. [2013/10/08]

Any ANAB-accredited certificates issued by Orion Registrar, Inc., for organizations located in China are no longer valid as of 31 December 2012. [2013/09/30]

Superior Quality Services Inc., 202 S. 5th Street, Saint Clair, MI 48079, is not an ANAB-accredited certification body and is not authorized to use the ANAB accreditation symbol. [2013/02/20]

An ISO 9001:2000 certificate ostensibly issued to Solarwide Ltd by Omark Trader, East Sussex Skegness City, UK PE25 3NW, is not valid. The certificate refers to an obsolete standard and uses the ANAB accreditation symbol without authorization. The certificate shows SGS Systems & Services Certification as the issuer but SGS did not issue the certificate. The certificate number (CA 96/315) was appropriated from the certificate of another company, whose certification was cancelled in January of 2009. [2013/01/15

Florida DNA and DNA of Georgia have both published false claims of accreditation by Forensic Quality Services International, which was acquired by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board and is now doing business as FQS. Neither of these organizations is accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board or by FQS. [2013/01/11]

An ISO 9001:2008 certificate issued by Quality Management Registrar to SECSAN Dorse Imalat Insaat Uluslararasi Nakliyat Ticaret ve Sanayi Anonim Sirketi (Cilek Mahallesi 6391.Sokak No:11/A, Akdeniz-Mersin/Turkiye) uses the symbol of the former ANSI-RAB National Accreditation Program (predecessor of ANAB) inappropriately and without authorization. Quality Management Registrar is not accredited by ANAB. [2013/01/11]

An ISO 9001:2000 certificate originally issued by Moody International Certification, Inc., to Industrias Metalicas Construcciones Gordon Cia. Ltda. (Av. America N17-314 Y Asuncion Esquina and Av. Alfredo Escudero S25-217 Y La Mana, Quito, Ecuador) uses the accreditation symbol of ANAB without authorization. The certificate, which has the identifying number 0608003 and issue date 04-Aug-06, is to an out-of-date standard and the original expiration date of 26-Apr-09 has been removed from the certificate.  Moody International Certification’s North American operation was purchased in 2008  and all valid certificates are now issued and managed under the name of Management Certification of North America (MCNA) and accredited by ANAB. Quality Systems Registrars of 120 Humpler Road West, Suite A, Winnipeg, Canada, is not accredited by ANAB and has used the ANAB accreditation symbol on an ISO 9001:2008 registration certificate without authorization. The certificate was issued to Plating Finishing Industries S. de R.L. de MI., Norte 3 # 8 Poniente 2 y Lauro Villar. Cd. Industrial C.I.M.A., H. Matamoros, Tam, Mexico C.P. 87325, and is not valid. The certificate also includes an obsolete ANSI-RAB QMS accreditation symbol without authorization. The certificate has the identifying number 062312/D-7, issue and effective dates 24-Jun-2010, and expiration date of 23-Jun-2013. Quality Systems Registrars, Inc., of 22375 Broderick Drive, Suite 260, Sterling, VA 20166, is accredited by ANAB and did not issue the certificate described above. [2012/09/14]

It was determined that KQMA M&C, the Korean subcontractor of ANAB-accredited Certech Registration Inc., headquartered in Ontario, Canada, was issuing ANAB-accredited Certech certificates without the knowledge or authorization of Certech or ANAB, and on April 1, 2011, Certech suspended its agreement with KQMA M&C. Any Certech certificates issued by KQMA M&C after April 1, 2011, are not valid. On August 1, 2011, Certech terminated its agreement with KQMA M&C and withdrew all Certech certificates in Korea. Any Certech certificate issued in Korea after August 1, 2011, is no longer valid. [2012/05/21]

Central Environmental Laboratory (CEL) in Kuwait, whose ACLASS accreditation was withdrawn January 5, 2012, continues to use the ACLASS symbol and make reference to an obsolete certificate (number AT-1101) and scope. CEL is no longer accredited by ACLASS and is using the ACLASS accreditation logo and/or symbol without authorization. [2012/03/22]

A fraudulent ISO 9001:2005 (sic) certificate ostensibly issued to Top Printer, S.A., Jl Jend A Yani IV 16, Keswan, Medan, Indonesia, by AQSR International, Inc, uses the accreditation symbol of ANAB without authorization. The certificate has the identifying number 6837, initial registration date 2/8/2010, and revision date July 19, 2010. ANAB’s accreditation of AQSR was withdrawn 2008/09/15. [2012/03/06]

GRC Equipos y Servicios, with an address of Av.Adolfo Lopez Mateos 30-Villas de San Fco.Chilpan Tultilan Edo Mexico 54940, may be issuing ISO/IEC 17025 accredited test reports with the ACLASS accreditation logo and/or symbol. A false certificate of ACLASS accreditation for this organization refers to an out of date address and uses an outdated version of the ACLASS accreditation logo. This organization is not accredited by ACLASS, has not been a customer of ACLASS, and is using the ACLASS accreditation logo and/or symbol without authorization. [2012/02/29]

PaternityLab.co.us, with an address of 20 Hogan Mews, London, United Kingdom W2 1UP, phone number 0845 269 3502, and web identity of paternitylab.co.uk may be issuing ISO/IEC 17025 accredited test reports with the ACLASS accreditation mark. This organization is not accredited by ACLASS, has not been a customer of ACLASS, and is using the ACLASS accreditation mark without authorization. [2011/10/03]

A fraudulent ISO 9001:2000 certificate issued to Nefesa Electronics, S.A., Biscaia, 383, planta 1 local, Barcelona 08027, Cataluna, Spain uses the name of International Certification Registrar Ltd. (ICR), an ANAB-accredited certification body, and the symbols of ANAB and IAF without authorization. The certificate has the identifying number Q15216/07, issue date 25 October 2007, and expired date 24 October 2012. ICR did not issue this certificate, and ISO 9001:2000 is obsolete. [2011/05/17]

A fraudulent ISO 9001:2000 certificate issued to Mr. Adavil Antonio Bicelli Junior, Av. Benedito Castilho de Andrade, 747 12 blco apto 11- Eloy Chavez, Jundiai 13212-070, Sao Paulo, Brazil uses the name of International Certification Registrar Ltd. (ICR), an ANAB-accredited certification body, and the symbols of ANAB and IAF without authorization. The certificate has the identifying number Q15348/11, issue date 12 April 2011, and expired date 12 April 2016. ICR did not issue this certificate, and ISO 9001:2000 is obsolete. [2011/05/17]

A fraudulent ISO 9001:2000 certificate issued to Telecom Easy Limited, 4 The Martins Telscombe Cliffs, East Sussex, BN10 7JL, United Kingdom uses the name of International Certification Registrar Ltd. (ICR), an ANAB-accredited certification body, and the symbols of ANAB and UKAS without authorization. The certificate has the identifying number 05033495. ICR did not issue this certificate, and ISO 9001:2000 is obsolete. [2011/05/17]

Three certificates issued to NANJING MILLINNIUM POWER SAFELOYD SCAFFOLDING IND.CO LTD, Zhong Shan Science & Technology Garden, DaChang Town, LiuHe District, Nanjing City, JiangSu Province, China, bear ANAB and IAF symbols without authorization. The certificates are numbered QMS101246CN for ISO 9001:2008, EMS101247CN for ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS101248CN for OHSAS 18001:2007. The certification body, AMT System Certification (www.amt-cn.com) is not accredited by ANAB. [2011/04/01]

American Management Technology, Inc., based in Fontana, WI, whose website is http://www.amtecregistrar.com/, is accredited by ANAB and in good standing. This organization should not be confused with an organization that is not accredited by ANAB, is falsely representing itself as American Management Technology, Inc., and has a website at www.amtec-cn.com that bears the ANAB and IAF symbols without authorization. The website (http://dgamt.cn.makepolo.com) of a body called AMT at No. 178 East Huancheng Road, Dongguan, 51000, refers to accreditation by ANAB. This organization is not accredited by ANAB. [2011/04/01] 

An ISO 9001 certificate issued to “ELECT.TEAM.Snc, Via Duca d’Este 4, 41036, Medolla (MO), Italy” with the certificate number 9751 is not valid. The certificate incorrectly states that the Europe System Registrar, the issuer of the certificate, is accredited by the Asian National Accreditation Program for Registrars of Quality Systems (ANSI-RAB). The certificate bears the signature of Richelle Kinzie, President of American Systems Registrar (ASR), an ANAB-accredited certification body. ASR did not issue this certificate, which uses the (obsolete) ANSI-RAB symbol without authorization. [2011/03/04]

An  ISO 9001:2000 certificate issued to “Oil House Estate, 12 Street, Mamfe, Cameroon” has the issue date April 5, 2001, expiration date April 4, 2011, and identifying number TRC 00160. This certificate is not valid and uses without authorization the acronym (TRC), the certification mark of The Registrar Company, Inc., and the accreditation symbol of ANAB. [2011/03/02]

American Systems Registrar (ASR), based in Wyoming, MI, whose website is www.asrworldwide.com, is accredited by ANAB and in good standing. ASR has a legitimate agent operating in China (Taiwan) with the website www.asrasia.com.  A different organization representing itself as ASR China is not an authorized agent for American Systems Registrar (ASR). ASR China is not accredited by ANAB and has issued a fraudulent certificate to “Hangzhou Best Business Consulting Co. Ltd for ISO 9001:2008 and Clean Products Co. Ltd., Cert # 13693.” [2011/01/31]

A fraudulent ISO 9001:2001 certificate issued to “LiYu Corp, 3733 Rosemead Blvd. Suite 101. Rosemead, CA” uses the acronym (TRC) and certification mark of The Registrar Company, Inc., an ANAB-accredited certification body, and the accreditation symbol of ANAB without authorization. The certificate of registration has the issue date June 1, 2009, expiration date May 31, 2012, and identifying number TRC 00548. [2010/10/12]

A fraudulent ISO 9001:2001 certificate issued to “Kollectable Limited of 129 Catherinne Street Ruslip, Middlesex, HH23 1RU, United Kingdom” uses the name of International Certification Registrar Ltd. (ICR), an ANAB-accredited certification body, and the symbols of ANAB and IAF without authorization. The certificate of registration has the identifying number RC 03437333, issue date 29th April 1999, and expiration date 28th April 2011. ICR has not issued any ANAB-accredited certificates in the United Kingdom. [2010/08/20]

A fraudulent ISO 9001 certificate issued to “Standafric Suppliers and Distributors of Domicilum Citandi Et Executandi No 3 Murray Street Parow Industry” uses the name of International Certification Registrar (ICR), an ANAB-accredited certification body, and the symbols of ANAB and IAF without authorization. The certificate of confirmation has the identifying number 0972511, issue date 17th January 2010, and expiration date 16th January 2014. ICR has not issued any ANAB-accredited certificates in South Africa. [2010/08/20]

A fraudulent ISO 9001:2000 certificate issued to “Metalica Limited, 12 Catherines Road ruislip Middlesex HA4 7RU, United Kingdom” uses the name of International Certification Registrar Ltd. (ICR), an ANAB-accredited certification body, and the symbols of ANAB and IAF without authorization. The certificate of registration has the identifying number R.C. 03437333, issue date 12th June 1997, and expired date 11th June 2009. ICR has not issued any ANAB-accredited certificates in the United Kingdom. [2010/08/20]

This organization should not be confused with an organization falsely representing itself as American Management Technology, Inc., and operating websites at www.amtregistrar.com and www.amt-cn.com, which is not accredited by ANAB and has circulated a fraudulent accreditation certificate with the ANAB name and accreditation symbol and the IAF MLA Mark without authorization. An organization representing itself as Euro Quality Certification, via Baldo Degli Ubaldi, 330, 00167 Rome, is not accredited by ANAB and is using the ANAB mark on certificates in Italy without authorization. The EQ certificate number C2009/114 issued by Euro Quality Certification for Cooperativa Sociale “Arteinsieme” bears the ANAB symbol without authorization. [2010/03/10]

Guangdong Audit and Certification Centre of Quality System is not accredited by ANAB or the former ANSI-RAB National Accreditation Program (ANSI-RAB NAP) and is using the ANSI-RAB NAP symbol on certificates in China without authorization. The certificate of conformity No. RAB2007Q0051 issued by Guangdong Audit and Certification Centre of Quality System for Probe Car Lifts Manufacturing Co., Ltd., bears the ANSI-RAB NAP symbol without authorization and also has a five year period of validity, which does not conform with ISO/IEC 17021:2006. A certification body at hkisa.com claims to be the Hong Kong office of International Standards Authority, Inc. (ISA), an ANAB-accredited CB headquartered in California (USA). ISA does not have an office in Hong Kong and has not issued certificates to any organizations in China or Hong Kong. The organization at hkisa.com is misrepresenting its association with ISA and is also misrepresenting being accredited by ANAB. The organization is using the ISA, ANAB, and IAF-MLA symbols without authorization. [2010/01/18]

Sweden Quality Certification (SQC) is not accredited by ANAB or the former ANSI-RAB National Accreditation Program (ANSI-RAB NAP) and is using the ANSI-RAB NAP symbol on its Web site without authorization. According to the site, SQC is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, with offices in Norway, Finland, Germany, Japan, Iran, the United Kingdom, and the United States. This body is not accredited by SWEDAC or DANAK and is also using their marks without authorization. [2008/02/28] 

B.R. Apartments (P) Ltd. of Vaishali, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, is not certified by CRS Registrars, Inc., and has used the symbols of CRS Registrars and the ANSI-RAB NAP (predecessor of ANAB) without authorization. [2007/07/31]

Saro Agricultural Products Exporting Co. (Anbargol) of Tehran, Iran, is no longer certified by Alliance international Registrar, LLC, and has used the symbols of Alliance international Registrar, LLC, and the ANSI-RAB NAP (predecessor of ANAB) on product packaging inappropriately and without authorization. ANAB and Alliance International Registrar, LLC, have informed Anbargol that it is prohibited from using their symbols and have demanded that it immediately refrain from doing so and from making any other misrepresentations regarding ANAB-accredited certification by Alliance international Registrar, LLC. TransOil, Inc., of Los Angeles, CA, and Panama, is not certified by Smithers Quality Assessments, Inc., and has used the symbols of Smithers Quality Assessments and the ANSI-RAB NAP (predecessor of ANAB) on a registration certificate inappropriately and without authorization. ANAB and Smithers Quality Assessments have informed TransOil that it is prohibited from using their symbols and have demanded that it immediately refrain from doing so and from making any other misrepresentations regarding ANAB-accredited certification by Smithers Quality Assessments. LT-Spedition of London, UK, is not accredited by ANAB and has used the ANAB accreditation symbol on a registration certificate inappropriately and without authorization. ANAB understands that LT-Spedition copied the signature of an ANAB-accredited CB without permission in an attempt to pass off the certificate as authentic. ANAB has informed LT-Spedition that it is prohibited from using ANAB’s symbol and has demanded that it immediately refrain from doing so and from making any other misrepresentations regarding accreditation by ANAB. Verisys Registrars of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, USA, is not accredited by ANAB and has used the ANAB accreditation symbol on a registration certificate inappropriately and without authorization. ANAB has informed Verisys Registrars and its client named on the certificate of the unauthorized use of ANAB’s symbol and has asked both parties to immediately refrain from using ANAB’s mark and making any misrepresentation regarding accreditation by ANAB. Court Rules in Favor of ANAB

The U.S. District Court of Massachusetts has ruled in ANAB’s favor in a summary judgment against American Global Standards (AGS). The court found that AGS had used the accreditation symbol of the ANSI-RAB National Accreditation Program (ANSI-RAB NAP, the predecessor of ANAB) without permission to deceive customers into believing that AGS was still accredited by ANAB (the ANSI-RAB NAP).
