ANSI Acquires Full Ownership of ANAB

ANSI has signed an agreement to acquire full interests in ANAB, creating a new legal entity, the ANSI National Accreditation Board.

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has signed an agreement to acquire full interests in the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board, LLC, creating a new legal entity, the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB). The transaction is scheduled to close December 28, 2018.

The two brands will continue business as usual in the near term while ANSI works to integrate its accreditation programs for conformity assessment bodies with ANAB’s portfolio of services. ANAB and ANSI are committed to minimizing changes, avoiding disruptions, and continually improving the high level of service our customers expect.
