Welcome to the ANAB Application Page for first time applicants. Here you can apply for one or more of the many accreditations ANAB offers. We strongly suggest submitting a Request for Quote or speaking with ANAB prior to submitting an application.

ANAB’s staff and assessors are dedicated to providing reliable, independent assessments of conformity assessment bodies (CAB’s) against recognized international, national, and technical standards. We facilitate the issuance of trusted results by assessed and accredited conformity assessment bodies and confidence in the quality and safety of products and services. Before Starting the Application

We strongly encourage users to submit an Request for Quote or speak to an ANAB staff member prior to submitting the web-based application. Here are some instructions to know before starting the application process.

  • First step – you will be asked to create an account so you can return at will.
    • This is not the same account you may have used when submitting a request for a quote; although, you can use the same email address.
  • You can always return to complete applications and access submitted applications.
  • Include all of the addresses where work is done that you want accredited.
  • Add all key contacts (e.g., top leadership, assessment contacts, finance), including the person who starts the application, if appropriate.
  • While not needed immediately, at least one of the contacts needs to be designated as the authorized contact (i.e., the person who can enter into a legally binding agreement with ANAB*).
    • *If you are a government entity, the authorized contact and the person who can enter into a legally binding agreement with ANAB may be different.
  • Only the person who has been selected as the authorized contact can submit the application.
  • A list of accreditation programs will be displayed alphabetically.
    • Select the drop-down icon to view the programs.
  • Select all the programs for which you wish to apply.
  • This symbol (^) next to an entry indicates there are additional programs available.
    • Click on the (^) symbol to expand the list.
    • If an additional program is selected, the main program will also be selected by default.
  • After choosing all of the requested programs, go to the bottom of the page to continue.
  • A grid view of the locations and accreditation programs will appear.
  • Click the box(es) to select which accreditation programs are to be accredited for each location.
  • Be sure to select the main accreditation program if you’re adding an additional program.
  • To add an additional location, click the blue plus sign (+) in the lower left corner of the screen.
