Audience Questions

At the end of the webinar, questions were asked by the webinar’s attendees. These included:

  • The standard asks for program objectives to be covered in the program evaluation, but there is no definition for “objectives” relating to the program itself. Is “objective” meant to be used synonymously with “program goals?” Or is something else intended?
  • Can training courses not offer CEUs under ASTM E2659-24?
  • Referring to 6.1.3.4, What about certificate revocation policies if a candidate is found to have used unauthorized means to pass an exam?
  • The definition of cut score mentioned both criterion and norm reference. Here we are limiting to criterion referenced?
  • A performance target for learner feedback on items does not seem to be controllable? Can you give them the opportunity to give feedback, but can’t control whether they do?
  • What are the requirements when AI is involved, including documentation, stakeholder disclosure, risk assessment, etc.?
  • Regarding Clause 5.3.7, does that include personnel that do not have access to the materials on the assessment? For example, the marketing or sales team?
  • Can you please provide an example of seeking input from the advisory group for summative assessment security?
