ANAB-CFP Accreditation Committee (ACAC)
The ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) has a cooperative agreement with the Conference for Food Protection (CFP) to accredit organizations involved in the certification of food protection managers in accordance with the CFP’s Standards for Accreditation of Food Protection Manager Certification Program.

Members and Officers
Membership on the ACAC is balanced according to the agreement between ANAB and CFP: two members of the Committee are appointed by the CFP and the ACAC Chair and remaining members are appointed by ANAB.
The ACAC shall have a voting membership of not less than five and not more than 10 persons. ACAC vacancies created by members leaving before the expiration of a term may be filled by appointment for the remainder of the term by the respective organizations they represent.
To ensure transparency as well as equity and due process, accreditation committee proceedings follow PR 7802.
The specific duties and responsibilities of the ACAC members include:
- Advising the ANAB-CFP Program and making accreditation decisions
- Facilitating communication about the ANAB-CFP Program
- Attempting to resolve any questions or disputes in the first instance between the parties hereto concerning operation of the ANAB-CFP Program
- participating in any complaints or appeals of accreditation decisions as may be required under applicable appeals procedures
- Addressing any other issues concerning the ANAB-CFP Program that CFP or ANAB may so request
ANAB staff is the contact for all ANAB program oversight committees. Individual committee members listed should not be contacted directly concerning ANAB business.
