Assessors for Management Systems Standards

ANAB is seeking contract assessors to assess third-party management systems certification bodies against the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1, schemes, programs, and applicable normative standards.

Some of the accreditation programs in need of assessors include:

• Artificial Intelligence (ISO 42001), including Technical Experts
• Information Security (ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701)
• Aviation, Space and Defense (AS9100, AS9110, AS9120)
• Responsible Recycling (R2, e-Stewards^®)
• Recycling Industry Operating Standard (RIOS)
• Responsible Care (RC14001)
• Food Safety (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, FDA FSMA)
• Forestry (SFI, ATFS)

In addition to demonstrating various skills, knowledge, and personal behaviors, candidates shall have successfully completed a lead auditor training course for a management system standard (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 22000) or equivalent, and shall have a wide range of auditing or assessing experience (first-, second-, or third-party) to have gained the necessary breadth of understanding of the various applications of the management system standards.
