Quality Assurance Evaluation Program (QAEP)
An independent, credible evaluation of your quality assurance program — confirming implementation, identifying gaps, and building stakeholder confidence without the scope of formal accreditation.
Important: The QAEP is not a certification, accreditation, or consulting program. It is an independent evaluation service that produces a formal report and Letter of Attestation confirming the results of ANAB’s review.
What is the QAEP?
The ANAB Quality Assurance Evaluation Program (QAEP) provides Program Developers — including scheme owners, benchmarking organizations, regulators, and corporate entities — with an independent evaluation of a privately developed quality assurance program, benchmarking process, or scheme.
ANAB evaluates whether your program’s processes are being implemented as designed, are consistent with your stated requirements, and are identifying risks and opportunities for improvement. Evaluations are conducted by a team of qualified Lead Evaluators and Technical Evaluators under contract to ANAB, all subject to strict conflict-of-interest and confidentiality requirements.
The scope and Level of Assurance are defined by the Program Developer, making the QAEP highly adaptable to your specific needs — from a remote document review to a comprehensive site visit with management interviews.

Who Uses the QAEP?
The QAEP serves any organization that needs an independent, structured evaluation of a quality assurance program or benchmarking process — without the formal requirements of accreditation.
Scheme / Program / Protocol Owners
Obtain an independent evaluation of your scheme’s design, implementation, and effectiveness, including your integrity program, rules and procedures, and conformity assessment operations. Demonstrate credibility to regulators, buyers, and stakeholders with a formal ANAB Letter of Attestation.
Benchmarking Organizations
Validate the design and implementation of your benchmarking process against recognized standards and best practices, including the UNIDO Global Best Practice Framework and IAF MD-25. Confirm evaluator competency and program reliability to increase stakeholder confidence.
Regulators & Specifiers
Validate adherence to regulatory requirements and confirm that program specifications are being implemented effectively in the field. The QAEP’s risk-based approach ensures the evaluation is calibrated to areas of greatest concern.
Corporate Entities
Evaluate the design, management, and implementation of corporate sustainability, ESG, CSR, governance, and quality assurance programs — including integrity programs, risk management processes, and conflict-of-interest controls.
