If you are interested in serving as an ANAB technical assessor for the forensic accreditation programs and learning the mechanics of the assessment process, this is the course for you!

This course is a full 5 days conducted with a qualified instructor, either live-online or in person.  The course begins with an in-depth review of the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard, the ANAB AR 3125 forensic accreditation requirements, and the benefits of accreditation.  The course continues with a thorough review of the assessment process detailing the technical assessor’s role and responsibilities, preparing for and conducting an assessment activity, using ANAB’s assessment platforms and how to properly complete the assessment forms.  Using various practical exercises, classroom discussions, homework deliverables, and a final examination, attendees will gain knowledge about the ANAB assessment process, learn numerous assessment methods, and acquire skills for performing an assessment and collecting, verifying, and recording objective evidence.

Although the course does make references to and has exercise scenarios using the ISO/IEC 17020:2026 standard, the course is based on the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.  If an attendee wishes to assess ISO/IEC 17020 they will be given additional training after application and acceptance as a technical assessor.

This course includes only the process of assessing as an ANAB forensic technical assessor.  If you are interested in becoming an internal auditor for your agency or organization, please see the Forensic ISO/IEC 17025 Internal Auditor or Forensic ISO/IEC 17020 Internal Auditor course.

This training course is available as a private session. Private sessions are a great option for organizations that have several staff members that need the training.
