Why Choose ANAB?
What Makes ANAB Different?
The expertise to guide your accreditation journey. The resources to help you succeed.
Accreditation is more than achieving recognition against a standard. It is a commitment to demonstrating competence, maintaining quality, and earning the confidence of customers, regulators, and other stakeholders. Meeting that commitment requires a clear understanding of requirements, careful preparation, and the ability to respond to changing expectations.
Choosing the right accreditation body can make a meaningful difference in how effectively your organization navigates that process.
At the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), experienced accreditation professionals, technical assessors, and subject matter experts bring extensive knowledge of standards, industry practices, and accreditation requirements. ANAB combines the expertise of its accreditation professionals with comprehensive guidance documents, specialized training, and technical resources to help organizations navigate accreditation requirements, prepare with confidence, and maintain accreditation over time.
Whether your organization is applying for accreditation for the first time, preparing for reassessment, expanding its scope, or adapting to revised standards, ANAB provides the expertise and resources to help you understand what is required and what comes next.
Our role is not simply to evaluate your organization against applicable requirements. It is also to make the accreditation process understandable, transparent, and professionally managed, so your team can approach each stage with greater clarity and confidence.
Experienced People Make the Difference
Standards establish the requirements for accreditation, but understanding how those requirements apply to your organization takes knowledge and experience.
ANAB’s accreditation professionals and technical experts bring practical familiarity with conformity assessment, industry-specific requirements, and the challenges organizations encounter during accreditation. Their expertise helps make complex requirements and assessment procedures more understandable.
For first-time applicants, that means access to professionals who can explain the accreditation process, clarify procedural expectations, and direct them toward relevant standards, policies, and resources.
For organizations maintaining accreditation, it means working with experienced professionals who understand the continuing responsibilities associated with accreditation, including surveillance, reassessment, scope changes, and transitions to updated requirements.
ANAB’s experts combine technical rigor with professional communication, helping organizations understand assessment findings, applicable requirements, and the actions they are responsible for taking.
