ISO/IEC 17024, the international standard governing requirements for bodies operating certification of persons, is undergoing its most significant revision since 2012. The updated 2026 edition, expected to be published in March 2026 , introduces changes that will affect how certification bodies comply with the these requirements.

This two-day, instructor-led workshop hosted by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) will provide a comprehensive review of the changes, the rationale behind them, and practical guidance on implementation. This workshop is targeted for certification body executives, directors, and program managers.

Dr. Vijay Krishna

Vice President, Credentialing — ANAB

IAF representative on ISO CASCO Working Group 30 — the group responsible for the revision of ISO/IEC 17024. Dr. Krishna co-convenes the Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated Working Group for Persons and chairs the Task Force on Transition of ISO/IEC 17024:2026. He holds a doctorate in Human and Organizational Learning from The George Washington University.

Adrienne Cadle

Dr. Adrienne Cadle, Vice President, Credentialing and Senior Psychometrician with Professional Testing Inc. has worked in licensure and certification testing for over 20 years.  She manages a team of psychometricians, test developers, and project assistants and oversees all psychometric and accreditation activities for a number of Professional Testing’s Licensure and Certification clients.  Areas of expertise for Dr. Cadle are in job/task or practice analyses, third-party accreditation, and innovative item development.

Pinpoint every clause that has been added, removed, or modified between the 2012 and 2026 editions, with a clear understanding of what each change requires.
