- Who's Accredited
ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation can help move your organization toward global recognition, consistent operations, and a competitive advantage. ANAB assessors evaluate the laboratory’s ability to produce precise, accurate test and calibration data. Facilities are regularly reassessed to ensure technical expertise is maintained. We offer accreditation for unique scopes and customized test areas.
ISO/IEC 17025 specifies general requirements for the competence to carry out tests and calibrations, including sampling. It covers testing and calibration quality systems using standard methods and laboratory-developed or modified methods.
The standard consists of general, structural, resource, process, and management system requirements. The general, structural, and management system requirements relate primarily to the operation and effectiveness of the laboratory’s quality management system and the laboratory organization itself. The resource and process requirements include factors that determine the correctness and reliability of the tests and calibrations the laboratory conducts.
As a non-profit, non-government entity, ANAB operates with the freedom and speed of a private entity and without the burden of a profit-first mentality. We work closely with many U.S. federal agencies, including sponsorship of accreditation programs, auditing on the agency’s behalf, and directly accrediting the agencies themselves.
ANAB provides accreditation for integrated accreditation to multiple standards and many industry-specific programs, including these programs based on ISO/IEC 17025:
