Randy Long, Associate Director of Accreditation at ANAB, has a wide variety of calibration experiences; as a technician, lab supervisor, and lab manager since 1986, quality manager, technical manager, trainer, and technical writer since 1992, and assessor, accreditation manager, and associate director since 2009.
At ANAB, Randy manages calibration laboratories and EMC testing laboratories where his duties consist of assessment team allocation, assessment package review, assessor evaluation and training, laboratory assessment, internal auditing, and participating in the Accreditation Council (AC). Randy is a qualified assessor for ISO/IEC 17020 (Inspection), ISO/IEC 17025 (Calibration/Testing), ISO 17043 (Reference Materials), ISO/IEC 17043 (PT Providers). Randy is also an ISO/IEC 17011 evaluator for APAC and IAAC peer evaluations of other ABs.
