Please review the scope of accreditation for listed ISO/IEC 17043 accredited test providers to confirm that the test of interest is listed.
For forensics service providers seeking accreditation or currently accredited in the scene investigation discipline, proficiency tests offered by ISO/IEC 17043 accredited test providers are available. These tests include overall crime scene processing and more focused tests in body fluids, event reconstruction, and latent print processing. With annual participation in one or more of these proficiency tests, the laboratory has flexibility in how additional monitoring or testing will be conducted in the scene investigation discipline to demonstrate that the discipline is being appropriately monitored.
