FDA Announces FSMA Fees, Webinar for Importers

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) annual fee rate for fiscal year 2019 and an upcoming webinar for food importers.

The newly announced fee rates apply for recognized accreditation bodies and accredited certification bodies, and the fee rate for accreditation bodies applying to be recognized in the FSMA third-party certification program. Fees are effective October 1, 2018. The rates include fees for certification bodies applying to be directly accredited by FDA. ANAB is one of four accreditation bodies recognized for FSMA.

The seminar will be held September 20, 2018, from 1:00 to 1:45 pm EDT.

Registration for the webinar is now open. When registering, you’ll have the opportunity to submit questions to be addressed by the VQIP panel.
