NOTE: Users requesting the ILAC and IAF mark should be aware that, with the transition from ILAC and IAF to the Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated (Global ACI), the use of these marks by ANAB accredited CABs will sunset. The exact timeline for this transition is not yet known but anticipated to be during 2027. The IAF and ILAC marks may be used in the intervening time period. ANAB will provide clear communication to accredited clients regarding the conditions for the use of the new marks and applicable transition timelines once they are established. Benefits and Requirements of Using a Combined Mark

As a signatory of both the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA), ANAB is licensed to grant permission for the use of these marks by ANAB-accredited entities.

Use of the combined marks offers the benefit of increased national and international acceptance through the ILAC and IAF recognition arrangements and may also provide benefits when used for promotional purposes.

Use of the ANAB accreditation symbol and the combined marks is governed by ANAB PR 1018, Policy on Use of ANAB Accreditation Symbols and Claims of Accreditation Status, ILAC and IAF principles for use of the marks, and the conditions of use outlined as part of the request below.
