How to Prepare for ANAB ISO/IEC 17024 Accreditation
The first step in becoming an ANAB-accredited ISO/IEC 17024 certification body is to become familiar with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17024, ANAB requirement documents, and other ANAB documents.
Submit an online application to determine eligibility. The online application will require information about your organization’s certification program(s) and will ask for evidence of an organizational chart, a defined scope of each certification being submitted for accreditation, and a job or practice analysis for each certification being submitted for accreditation.
Participation in ANAB training is an optional method to familiarize yourself with the requirements of the accreditation you are seeking. Many organizations new to accreditation have found the training an efficient and valuable way to become more familiar with the requirements.
