Seeking Team Leaders, Assessors, and Technical Experts for ANAB Forensic Accreditation Programs
Forensic Accreditation Programs include Forensic Testing and Calibration (based on ISO/IEC 17025), Forensic Inspection (based on ISO/IEC 17020) and Property & Evidence Units (based on AR 3181). The Forensic Strategic Business Unit utilizes Team Leaders, Assessors, and Technical Experts.
ANAB Forensics’ Business Unit is not currently accepting applications at this time.
The following requirements and guidance are in place for each category:
- Assessors
- Have completed the ANAB Forensic Assessor Training Course
- Are typically volunteers
- Serve with minimal oversight from the Team Leader
- If applying for a Forensic Testing and/or Calibration Accreditation Program possess the required education specified for select disciplines in AR 3125 Accreditation Requirements for Forensic Testing and Calibration Laboratories (Annex A).
- Technical Experts –
- Have typically not completed the ANAB Forensic Assessor Training Course
- Are typically volunteers
- Serve under the direction of the Team Leader or other qualified Assessor
Because the application must be completed at one time, please download the Supplement to the Online Forensic Assessor Application and allow time to complete prior to initiating the online application. The supplement document provides guidance and is designed to capture your technical qualifications.
To apply, please complete the ANAB Assessor Application and select the applicable Forensic Accreditation Program. ANAB will review your information and will contact you if we feel you have the necessary competence.
If you currently contract with ANAB as an assessor and want to expand into other ANAB accreditation programs, please reach out to your ANAB contact/s directly.
