- Who's Accredited
World Accreditation Day, held annually on June 9, is an initiative of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperative (ILAC), to raise awareness of the importance of accreditation.
The 2019 theme was Accreditation: Adding Value to Supply Chains
The ANSI-ANAB animated video illustrates how accreditation adds value to supply chains. We encourage you to share it!
Supply chains play a vital role in delivering products and services in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Accreditation and related quality infrastructure tools such as standards, metrology, and conformity assessment, provide tools that deliver value to the supply chain. These tools promote trust and assurance, enabling confidence in products and services and the manner in which they enter the market and are used.
World Accreditation Day 2019 was celebrated with events, seminars, and media coverage around the globe, providing the opportunity to explore how accreditation can help deliver a safer world and support businesses, government, and regulators seeking standards, conformity assessment, and accreditation tools.
IAF Chair Xiao Jinahua and ILAC Chair Etty Feller issued a joint statement in conjunction with World Accreditation Day 2019. IAF and ILAC also offer promotional materials, all of which are available for download and distribution:
