Overview of ISO 17034 - Course Description

This overview training is a self-paced, web-based training delivered through Mindflash.  This introductory course provides an overview of ISO 17034:2016 requirements, as well as review of the concepts in the associated guides, such as ISO Guide 31 and ISO Guide 35.   Additionally, participants will be provided with an overview of how the standard is used in assessing the competence of reference material producers and how the management system requirements support the operations of the reference material producer.

  • Gain and understanding of ISO 17034 requirements;
  • Become familiar with contents of certificates, labels and accompanying documentation (ISO Guide 31) ;
  • Get a general overview of guidance for characterization and assessment of homogeneity and stability (ISO Guide 35);
  • Gain an understanding of how the standards is used in accreditation.

Reference material personnel, including production, laboratory, and management, subcontractors performing measurements for reference material producers, quality assurance managers, regulatory personnel, assessors, internal auditors, laboratory management, consultants.

Self-paced Training: 

This training is presented as self-paced, web-based seminar through an online platform, Mindflash. Access information will be provided after we receive the registration payment.

After your payment for the training is processed, you will receive an email message asking for your preferred start date and we will send you access to the training for five calendar days.  Once you begin the training, you will be able to open and close the session as often as you like within those days.  The training takes approximately four hours to complete.  An attendance certificate will be emailed upon completion.
